Stephan is born and raised in and around Chicago. He is a Beauty School dropout who grew up bartending at dive bars to pay the bills while he played in bands. As he got older he wanted to take the bar more seriously. Prior to Band of Bohemia he cut his teeth at Blackbird and Duck Duck Goat. Stephan now works for the only Michelin Starred Craft Brewpub in the world.
