Sampling Regulations:

• Must be located in the Beverage Room.
• All THC must be hemp-derived per regulations in the 2018 Farm Bill.
• Max THC allowed is 10mg
• Restaurant Show will supply a bartender that will monitor serving in The Beverage Room. This bartender is in charge of monitoring several booths in the area and will not be assigned to your booth. They will be monitoring to ensure all laws and regulations are being followed.
• Exhibitor employees who are 21 years or older are allowed to distribute their own samples.
• The Maximum Sampling Portions (per person) are:
  • 2 oz.
• There are no restraints on sample vessel as long as the sampling size outlined above is followed.
• You MUST submit proof of having $1,000,000.00 liability insurance naming OVG Hospitality, and the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority as additional insured located at 2301 S Lakeshore Dr., Chicago IL and are responsible for State and Local laws pertaining to the distribution of alcohol.
• You will be required to check ID’s and follow all Illinois Liquor Laws. Those under the age of 21 are not allowed to sample beverages with THC.
• Hemp Beverages cannot be served prior to 11:00 a.m. on Sundays, per City of Chicago ordinance.

Storage Regulations:

• Exhibitor must ship their alcohol to arrive in the Secured Storage Area (shipping labels will be provided).
• Exhibitors must store their alcohol in the provided Secured Storage Area (located near The Beverage Room) overnight. There will be off duty police officers who you will be able to check in/out your product with. You are able to hand carry your product to/from Secured Storage at no cost.
• Exhibitor are responsible for removal of all product from the Show. Hemp Beverages cannot be given out to attendees or exhibitors at the end of the Show.
• All other Hemp Beverages associated costs not listed within the included package are the responsibility of the exhibitor.
