Thorn has worked for Nation’s Restaurant News since 1999, reporting on food & beverage trends in restaurants. He is also Senior Food & Beverage Editor at sister publication Restaurant Hospitality, which he joined in 2016. In addition to graduating magna cum laude from Tufts University, he has studied traditional French cooking at Le Cordon Bleu Ecole de Cuisine in Paris.
