Twenty-one-year restaurateur Rohini Dey, Ph.D., is the founder of Vermilion restaurant, Let's Talk Womxn, and the James Beard Foundation women's leadership program. After a career in academia, the World Bank, and McKinsey, her unique Indian-Latin and Indian-Chinese fare has been lauded as "Best Restaurants" by Travel & Leisure, Town & Country, Esquire, Wine Enthusiast, Chicago, and 3 Stars Chicago Tribune. Native Chicagoan Taylor Mason created Taylor's Tacos in 2018 after falling in love with Southern California street tacos. Her catering company evolved into Taylor's Tacos retail in 2023, already a must-visit destination according to Eater, Infatuation, Tribune, and Sun Times.
